I don’t know for you, but for us, despite being an animated movie, Cars ranks among our cult car movies. The quality of the animation, the depth of the details, the quirky ideas, it all comes together beautifully. Personally, I really liked the enormous amount of research behind it and how they manage to show so much about the car culture, and they did it in such a great manner that the movie is enjoyable for the hardcore car freak, as well as for a newbie or a kid.
And what about how perfectly the characters were embodied in their vehicle form? Matter the redneck, Sarge the army vet, Fillmore the hippy… but also Jay Leno, Governor Schwarzenegger and many more. So yes, you go it by now, we’re very excited about the sequel.

According to recent posts on Shoot For The Edit, Michael Bay’s official forum, Bay responds to questions pertaining to the post-production schedule of his latest and greatest film, Transformers 3. Bay states that “Our trailer comes out next week on Fast and a bunch of other stuff.” The Fast Five film he is referring to is set to release this Friday, which will be the first place eager Transformers fans can go to gain more insight as to what they can expect to see in the feature film. Bay proudly goes on to explain that “The 3D will the best 3D of any movie this year.” However bold this statement might seem, given the vast number of 3D films yet to release, we can be sure to expect some phenomenal visual effects if they are anything like the first two films in the series. The 3D trailer of Transformers 3 is set to release with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides on July 9, 2011.
